When I was contacted a few months back by Lucas’ mommy Janice I was super excited at the possibility of capturing this family with Grandma and Grandpa involved. It’s not too often that Grandparents want to get in on the action at family sessions but these guys were in it! You could tell just from their interactions that the world simply revolved around little Lucas and that is always nice to see. As two year olds often do, he ran the show and gave us lots of smiles and laughs which obviously made for some fantastic moments captured!
With summer on the horizon I am once again very excited to be getting back into the swing of things with family photography in Ottawa and Cornwall, Ontario! If you are interested in booking a family photo session in the months to come I’d love to hear from you!
Lifestyle family photography in the homes of my clients are the types of sessions that I LOVE to do in the winter time. They are the perfect type of session for families who would like a documentary style of session and love the idea of simply preserving a slice of everyday life. When Nicole contact me about this just before Christmas I was so very excited for this shoot to happen for many reasons. First, as 1/6th of The TBBs, I knew Nicole (as a very talented Interior Designer) would have the perfect space for us to work in…and I was not disappointed! Another reason I was excited was because this session was also going to include Grandma and Grandpa. Basically, the scene was set for me to document some time with these folks doing something that they love and treasure – spending quality time with each other. They decided to dig out some classic board games and the session was was as simple and fun as that.
A big, huge thank you to the Duguay family for inviting me into their home to spend this time with them. I am so grateful to have been asked to capture their family in such a beautiful, authentic way and I sincerely hope that these family photos will be treasured and enjoyed for years to come!

My goal is to always give my clients a fantastic experience and, of course, amazing family photos. So when clients come back time after time, I always feel so grateful. I know how daunting it can be to find a professional family photographer who you trust to capture important memories. So every time I have a family come back, I do a little happy dance. 🙂
I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely family last summer, and then once again I was contacted during winter to photograph their newborn baby boy. Now this summer with grandparents visiting, they wanted more! And I was thrilled to spend some time with them at the Ornamental Gardens capturing some sweet family moments. I thought it was so lovely that Grandma and Grandpa could be present for the photos this time as well. The relationships between grandparents and grandchildren are always so special and it’s not every day that I have the opportunity to document it. 🙂
Thank you once again to the wonderful Flores family for trusting me to photograph your beautiful family. I wish you all the best with your upcoming move and I sincerely hope that I have the opportunity to photograph you all again in the not too distant future!
(We had quite a laugh at this pose above. It was the only way to keep Ana from getting upset towards the end of the session. Whatever works, right? 😉 )
