The leaves are slowly changing, there’s a crisp feeling in the air – and we know that can only mean one thing! FALL IS COMING! My favourite time of the year. And not just because of the pumpkin spice lattes. I love Thanksgiving, gathering with family and of course, enjoying the time spent photographing my clients amongst the beautiful autumn colours.
This is the perfect time to get family photos in time to add to Christmas cards, or to hang on the wall of your home. I am a big believer that every family should do this as often as they can, because your kids grow up fast! This year, all of my family photos sessions in Ottawa will be held outdoors and can be done at the location of your choice. Popular spots in years past have been the Dominion Arboretum, The Experimental Farm, Dow’s Lake, Ottawa’s Byward Market/Major’s Hill Park and of course, my client’s back yard! I’m open to doing family photos just about anywhere within Ottawa city limits!
If you’re ready to book your own family photos with Danielle Lynn Photography, now is the time to book to secure your fall date! I have new packages for 2021 which I know my clients will love. Get in touch here to book!
For this fall I’ve decided offer outdoor sessions exclusively. It’s no secret by looking at my work that I’ve always had a strong preference for the outdoors, but lately it just feels like an option that my clients are more comfortable with. Headshots in the Byward Market have been a popular option for my business photo clients for years. There are lots of great backdrops within a short walking distance, and it’s usually a convenient spot for professionals and university students alike. October and November of this year are shaping up to be busy months and I can’t wait to meet all sorts of new clients…and hopefully some returning regulars too!
If you are looking to book professional headshots/business portraits in Ottawa and favour a fresh, modern outdoor look, I’d love to work with you! Please get in touch here.
This is a session from waaay back that I must’ve missed posting about! Mandy is a local photographer who wanted a few fresh images to use on her website and social media. I have to admit, I’m always so thrilled (and slightly nervous) when other photographers hire me! Mandy was a breeze to work with and her beautiful home made such a lovely backdrop for her professional headshots. Thanks Mandy!
