A good friend of mine from out of province contacted me about the possibility of doing family photos with her son, her daughter in law and their new daughter, J. As always I was thrilled to oblige and was looking so forward to meeting this sweet girl that I had heard so much about!
The first thing I noticed when we met was, of course, those amazing cheeks! Aren’t they just irresistible?! These guys were such a pleasure to work with. Little J was pretty much a ham for the camera, mom and dad were so chill and playful which made things very easy for me. I’m thrilled that these guys love their photos and I hope I have the opportunity to do them again in the future!
If you are interested in having your own family photographed by Ottawa Family Photographer, Danielle Lynn Photography, please get in touch via my contact form! With the nice weather now officially upon us here in Ottawa I can’t wait to get to know some new Ottawa Families!
The B Family are long time clients of mine, so when they contacted me to photograph their growing brood (including their newest newborn daughter) I couldn’t have been happier. As some long time blog readers may recall, this mama actually had me photograph the birth of her eldest daughter in 2012. You can watch that here if you’re curious!
This time I was so happy to meet their newest little peanut. With tons of jet black hair and the happiest, brightest eyes, she was simply irresistible. It was very clear how much her parents and older siblings just adored her. The slightest peep and someone was right there with a kiss or a soft rub of her head. She’s a lucky little girl to be surrounded by so much love!
Thanks so much B family for inviting me into your home to catch up with your lovely family for a photo session! I hope we have the opportunity to do it again some day!
If you live in the Ottawa area and are interested in booking your own family or newborn photo session, I’d love to hear from you! My approach to these types of sessions is very relaxed with an emphasis on capturing you and your family as perfectly imperfect as you are.
This cheerful bunch planned this session as gift to Grandma! Kind of a great idea, isn’t it? What Grandmother wouldn’t love a set of beautiful images of her grand kids – one of her greatest sources of joy! Grandma was just beaming with pride and adoration through most of this session, on and off camera. I’m certain these family photos will be something that all members of the family will treasure for years to come.
As an Ottawa area family photographer I consider myself so fortunate to interact with so many beautiful and and unique new families so regularly. If you are thinking about booking your own family photos as a gift to yourself or for a loved one, I’d love to hear from you! Together we can plan a photo session that will meet your needs and be laid back and enjoyable for all involved.
